This little watercolour depicts a traditional Irish cottage which sits nestled on the coast road in Co Antrim . This takes in one of the most famous scenic drives in the world, according to Lonely Planet. What a view the owners must have from their window of this pretty cottage. 
I captured a photograph of this place while out on my bike for a cycle in the area during August. 
It measures 8 inches x 5 inches and is painted using the highest quality paint, guaranteeing lightfastness. It is painted on heavy Arches watercolour paper. 
The colour palette is made up of soft tones of lilac and grays with some greens and a hint of mutted red to capture the notion of the hydrangia growing nearby.
 
This is a one off original painting which comes unframed , however if you live local to my studio ,I can arrange for it to be framed also.
